Order on DiscordVIP renews until you cancel, and you keep it to the end of the period you paid for. A premium plugin is a one-time purchase for the period shown; buying it again adds another period. Plugins are paid with Vortex credits (1 credit = €1, credits never expire). A plugin doesn’t add clients: a free account runs 1 client at a time, so run a plugin in more clients with VIP. All sales are final — see the Terms of Service.
How to install
Download, run the installer, log in with your key. The walkthrough below takes about two and a half minutes.
On Windows

Download the installer Use the Download button at the top of the page. It picks the right build for your PC.

Let it past SmartScreen Windows asks once for new apps: choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Vortex is code-signed.

Log in with your key Claim a free key on your account page after logging in with Discord, or use the key that came with your purchase.
Installing on a Mac

Open the .dmg and drag Vortex to Applications Pick the build that matches your chip: Apple Silicon (M1–M4) or Intel. They are not interchangeable.

Launch it Vortex is signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without a warning. If you do see one, tell us on Discord: it’s a bug, not a step to work around.

Log in with your key The same key works on Windows and Mac: free from your account page, or the one that came with your purchase.
Using a Jagex account? One extra step
In Vortex go to Home → “How to Add Jagex” → “Enable Jagex Launcher integration”. macOS asks for permission to update other apps: allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security → App Management. Without that permission the Jagex Launcher integration can’t be installed.
macOS 11 or later. No separate Java install: the runtime ships inside the app.
